The Problem With Sports Media

The NFL supported media has merged into one big team, with one goal in mind. Viewership. In order to achieve higher numbers, the NFL has decided to push certain storylines, and put spotlights on players and teams who would bring in the most viewership. The constant praise of certain players, coaches, and teams has got to stop. This is turning the NFL into an entertainment instead of a sport which entertains. 

You can be an ex player who's still qualified and knowledgeable, such as Micheal Strahan. But if you tell me with a straight face that Booger McFarland has the knowledge and capability to teach football, you are psychotic. Analysts will contradict themselves multiple times in a game, such as by giving recognition to his favorite players, but not to the no-name player who has broken out and quietly dominated that same very stat or category and is on the same field. Call it tunnel vision, lack of research, or just playing favorites, but almost every analyst has their few guys. We will disregard feelings and opinions when studying film, to bring you unbiased rankings, news, and analysis.
